GPS direct from KSMF to PMDY is 2819.2nm according to Plan-G.

Looking at this table the default 737 or 747 should make it: (747 definitely)

From San Francisco to Midway Islands is 2800 NM. So a 737NG, with its max range of 5500 NM fully loaded could do it easily.

Why don'y you give it go, Daveroo !

The Tu-114 could make the trip easily. The Tu-114D could make a round trip without refueling.
