I needed to watch an old B & W tonight. I loved this series of movies.

Sometimes you just want to watch a movie that purely entertains, and you don't have to do anything but enjoy it........

Nevermind the subtitles. It was the best youtube example I could find!

Excellent choice, Chief ! Good humor, some slapstick, and highly entertaining !

You need to follow that up with one of the Ma & Pa Kettle films ! :ernae:

Oh yes, I love them too. All of them. Marjorie Main and Perch Kilbride. Wonderful actors, both.

I think comedy is best when the actors dont need to say anything, or use fancy cimmiks that wouldnt happen in real life.

So, i present, the one and only, Mr Bean :d

Any comedian that thinks his use of four letter adjectives every other word is funny, doesn't know comedy very well.

And I feel sorry for those who think that comedians that use four letter adjectives every other word are funny. :focus:

Red Skelton was one of the rare, true comedians. He didn't use profanity. He had a talent for making people laugh, and generally just feel good. I had the privilege of seeing him perform in Jacksonville, FL, in the mid 1980s. He was genuine.

I miss the oldies too NC. Those were great. Mr. Bean was pretty good too.... dumb, but still a good laugh.

Of all comedians I miss Red Skelton the most. He was "the" master that can never be replaced.
