A side note, customers that bought the original package will get V2 in their account at no charge. Got my copy and ready to take her for a spin
I'm with the FAA and I'm here to help you.....................Now gimme a hug!
Looks like no TacPack ....to use in the FSX@War Southeast Asia theater.
They've integrated the F1GTN750! Pity that 750 bezel is a bit different and somewhat simpler. Apart from that: great.

Unfortunately the external lighting fx are not Dx10 compatible from the FsX install, even after running the Dx10 fx scan tool. Oh well now to replace them with fx that work.

I installed v2 of C337, my switches won't sound as advertised... :-(

I wonder if there are any appreciable differences from V1

I would have bought it if they had integrated an O-2 model in the package. Oh well.

They don't work too well in DX9, either.
I downloaded and installed V2 this morning. On my test flight I noticed a problem with the nav lights.
The blocks only appear at certain angles in spot view as you pan around the aircraft.
I notified Carenado with the same images, and they responded that I needed to change my DX setting. They didn't say which one. I'm running FSXA, DX9 btw. I asked for clarification, but have not received a response.
Since I had not flown v1.0 for a while, I cannot say what changes were made. It does take older textures. But these little things make me want to go back to my original install.

The lights are attached to the model so no easy fix. I was hoping to swap them for a compatible FX from A2A shockwave or some defaults but no go. Guess we will just have to wait for Carenado to fix them. My guess is since they are goofing in both DX9 and 10 they were compiled for P3D don't have that so can't confirm.
PCAviator usually runs a few days behind on their version upgrades.
One day without laughter, is one day without living.
One day without Flight Simming, is one day lost living.
Received an email reply from Carenado about their update (V2). I attached my invoice that was a from PCAviator, they (Caranado) told me to just download it again. I dunno. I tried that and
it looked like it has the same file name. If I were to do that, then I would of renamed it to something V2 just in case it was V2. I still have the original V1 with same name. If V2 is messed up then
using the renaming option, I could at least revert to V1.
EDIT: I didn't install it yet however, I did a pre-install to see if it would say that I am about to install V2 - didn't see that. The name and file size are the same. I just replied to Carenado with the email they sent me
of same. Is there any thing that distinguishes V1 from V2 - like file name or a install splash screen that informs of a V2 install. Otherwise, I deleted what I just downloaded, the contents look identical, I don't believe
PC Aviator has caught up with V2. Based on the results here, I am in no hurry but am curious.
Carenado is claiming that the external lighting for v2.0 should work in DX10. They do not work in either DX9 or DX10. I'm back to v1.0. Enough time wasted.

Just an FYI.
Filed a fixit ticket with Carenado for the following items, and I fear there may be more.
- Fuel pump switches are not correct
- Correctly trimmed aircraft tries to pitch up @ 50 knots and then falls back to ground (hard, as expected).
- Yokes jump in and out of view with minor control inputs.
I too thought the switches noises were in-op, but I think they are just really faint.
Carenado politely replied they are working on these issues for the next release.
I have a feeling they gave the V2 "upgrade" to a new and budding birdman coder, thinking "how bad can the new kid screw it up" since it is one of their most stable models. Probably not the best idea...
