Got ‘em! Got those HPs too. It’s great to see them after they languished in the hangar for so long.

Hello, everyone.
I've had many folks ask about how PW looks, so here's only a few screens. It's basically GW3 with some changes done by following a youtube video on how to get FS9 to look great. It's from 2019. You first install FS9, then GW3, then all the files in the video in the order the narrator says.
Once you finish that part, you then move several bgl's out of the way. Most of them are in the main scenery folders (NAME, SAME, EURE, EURW, etc) to a backup folder so they are not active. These would be the "AB," "AP," "AT," "NV," and most of the "OB" bgl files. Exception to the last is NYC, which Bernard discovered not long ago. Thanks Bernard!
After all that's done, you add airports, navaids, etc, to your hearts content and taste in the Addon Scenery folder.
One thing you must also do is create a "MagDec" folder with a "scenery" subfolder in the Addon Scenery folder. To here you copy the default magnetic declination file from the BASE\Scenery folder. You then make sure you keep this folder as the highest priority so that the magnetic declination is always the sim's default one since not all airports you add will have proper declination.
There are a few files that need to get moved from the GW3 install as well, but that's too complicated and will be included in the "manual" I'm trying to put together.
I'm including a link to my album on flickr. Hopefully it works, otherwise I'll have to try and place all the links individually.
Again, this is only a small smattering of what I've been doing over the past several years trying to get this to work. I'll post more pics to the album as I get the chance to post-process the screenshots. It doesn't even show all of Alex Belov's scenery or some of the other vintage scenery I have in there. It's just the generic one's I've been working on for some time.

PS: I placed this here since it's a bunch of screenshots. Moderators, please move to another forum if there's one that's more appropriate. Thanks!

Hi Jorge,
Many thanks for the post/info and generating interest.
Anything that gives options and ideas is great as far as I'm concerned, and I would very interseted in your 'manual', when done....
Just keep posting, people are watching!

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
Album was updated tonight. There are 12 new pics of areas already done or works in progress.
The new pics are at the bottom. Just use the link posted already here or you can use the one in the new post on the forums. They lead to the same album.
I'll post advisories on both unless told otherwise.

Almost 20 years old, but still a great model. Thing is, i have the Alpha payware somewhere but i still prefer this model, and there's many repaints in our library.
And another with a RobH CFS2 repaint
Pete,
Based on your other thread, I think close to Amesbury.....

From your description I think it might be RAF Hornchurch. But the number of buildings on your screenshot make it doubtful.
Hmmmm, poss North Weald in Essex, but shouldn't be, as it has topography in the pic ha ha.
Most RAF bases have been done in the London, Essex, so Kent poss RAF Detling, Gravesend, Headcorn...or??

Okay, so it must be RAF Odiham. Never heard of it, but google is my friend.
