Looks like FS9 to me. The clouds are crap, the ground textures are crap, the water is crap. All things that have since been improved!
Its a Bear, the picture below shows a Badger. And it definitley looks like default FS9. I wouldn't describe it as crab, but my completely modified FS9 looks better, perhaps even better than default FSX.
I agree with Huub, FS2004 is most definatly not a crab.
(sorry huub, i nearly spilot my tea over my keyboard reading your post)

This is that FS9 Bear, built by Vladimir Zhyhulskiy and in this case, painted by Lucian Lie ( aka Yago9 )

Coupled with the sound set for the Samdim Tu-114, you have a truly great Bear. It even has a VC !
The Tu-95 is such an awesome looking aircraft. I have a book by Yeffim Gordon about the Tu-142 (Russians numbering for the Tu-95). Is 300+ pages about the developmental history, predecessors, different types, and a bunch of pictures. This is one aircraft that definately needs a throrough doing for FSX. Unfortunately I think a lot of the technical specs, and operating manuals are so obscure that they would be nearly impossible to get ahold of to do the aircraft in an kind of real detail.

If anyone can get the manuals for this one, we will do it. I guarantee it.
I instantly though of Milviz when initially viewing this thread. I checked out your site in the hope that you've got a 3D render of this beast already.....but alas no (albeit a veeeery nice Blinder though!!). A Bear is a must for FSX though I'd imagine manuals would be next to impossible to find

It is a Bear allright. Looking at the vid it has Vladimir Zhyhulskiy written all over it.
Take a lookie here: http://samdimdesign.free.fr/ for another great Bear
High quality bird, but not yet for FSX i'm afraid....
Surely whish one would make us another high quality one, as well as the Badger, Candid (incl Midas and Mainstay) Flanker (The whole lot), Fullback, Fulcrum, Fitter, Flogger, Fishbed etc.

I think it's the fastest turboprop, not the fastest propellor driven aircraft. I think that official honor goes to Rare Bear or Strega (unlimited racing aircraft).
Would love to see a Tu-95 in FSX
EDIT: Maybe that is unfair, technically it has props... So maybe piston power is the differentiator.
What information exactly do you have access to? I have most of the technical specs, power ratings, load outs and such available in that book I bought. The main issue I forsee is translating the Russian. Plus not have very good photo's of the Flight Engineer, Navigator stations, and over head consoles. I will flip through it when I get home from work and see what else is in there. Still haven't finished reading it all the way.

The manuals are great mostly because they usually (but not always) contain pictures of the controls. panels and TEXT that is needed to make a high quality model.
The external of this bird isn't all that difficult. The VC though is another story. When we were doing the Blinder, we had to "forget" about the other positions because there was no way it would have fit into FS9. Now, though, we might well do it for FSX if we can find a CODER!!!!!
