Hi,

shooting b/w with analog cameras has definitely a very unique touch, but color has also a distinct appearance.

I normally use the following films:

- Kodak Ektar 100 (high resolution, colors are a bit over saturated, good for technical exposures, not so for people)
- Kodak Portra 160 (good resolution, soft colors, good for people and soft settings)
- Fiuji Velvia 100 RVP 100 color reversal film (my fav! Super high resolution, vivid colors, good tor tech exposures, but must be exposed very carefully due to it's small dynamic range)
- An assortment of films that are way beyond their shelf life. I like the strange look these films produce. Image below is a Kodak Portra 100 T, 17 years past it's date, non cooled storage!)

A few examples:

Mamiya RZ67 Pro II, Mamiya Sekor Z 110mm W, on Kodak Portra 100T roll film. Expired in 1999. I love the way it depicts the aluminum!

Mamiya RZ67 Pro II, Mamiya Sekor Z 65mm L-A, on Fuji Velvia RVP 100 color reversal (slide) roll film. Polarizing filter. :
