Probably my longest sim flight in like 20 years. 2000 nm from Berlin to Tenerife. Over five hours in total.
The ToLiSS A321 is really well made, although Zibo's freeware 737 still has a better sound package.
Same flight, showing off Enhanced Cloudscapes.
Happy Boxing Day 2020. Those that have been following the WIP on the P-40, I just released the Alpha version on forums.x-plane.org. I decided to model the P-40E and P-40K early version (pre-extended vertical stabilizer). I am still researching the Merlin powered P-40's (used in North Africa and on Guadalcanal). The nose set up is very different. Attached are some photos.
Here are some newer freeware files available at X-Plane.org. First off, the 747Sp..
Next the Citation X
Radioman... you've done a lovely job on the P40... really captured the shape. I've been trying to do a repaint of a "Sharkmouth" RAF desert scheme which looks ok but I've run into a few problems that other re-painters have hit... it seems the UV mapping could do with tidying up a bit... do you have any plans to do that? Your welcome to the PSD with the layers I've done to include in your project (just pm me). The revised NML files I did look good with existing paints even without the detail being added to the main texture. The UV is bit of a patchwork and is preventing really neat matching up of panel lines and details but that said it still looks pretty good. Got too many of my own projects on the go to spend much more time on it myself... but thank you for this wonderful add on

Added OilRigX and Sikorsky S-92 payware to my hangar recently.... both very nice
landing the Dreamfoil Bell 407 on a rig is a bit easier than the big S92 but hopefully will get the measure of it.

P40 paint about as good as I can get at the moment...
The Crusader...

Rotorsom EC135
Sea King and empty Bambi Bucket … apparently not such a good idea... got wrapped around tail in end

Your paints are looking very nice. I will eventually tidy up to the paint kit. I don't know if you saw the "paint template" folder included in the distribution. I tend to use Corel PaintShopPro. There are a number of things that I am doing to increase the immersion factor and I am still animating the cockpit area when I have time from my job.
The latest unpublished version of this model is to take it from a "E" to a "K" which is more proper for the paint schemes that I supplied. That is mainly a change to the rudder configuration. I like what you have done and I would like to get copy to study the lines.
As part of a theme of lesser known P-40s. Here is a WIP on a P-40F-1 CU. Note: The paint is for a P-40K-1-CU flown by Lt. Jay Overcash, 64 FS, 57th FG but I will update the paint to a P-40F bird later. The 57th FG also flew "Fs" and "Ls" and preferred them because of the higher operational ceiling.
This aircraft was much preferred in the med as it has a Merlin engine and the service ceiling is about 5000 ft higher than the Allison engine versions.
Hi Radioman
you're more than welcome to my work and to include the paint I did (it hasn't been released). I work on PSDs but I cant save them as PSP files for you, so I have converted them to XCF (GIMP) files, as I thought that might be more useful to you. If you can open PSD files in PSP then let me know and I can send them to you to. I've included the PNG normal files which are basically my panel/rivet details multiply blended over your normals…. Also the wheel as it has a red hub. Sent to the email address in the readme...hope it gets to you ok.

MD-90 Freeware
CL-300 Freeware
Send me a PM and I will send my email address. I can work in both Corel and Adobe but I find Corel to be more intuitive.
No, not ddens but included in the recently released freeware Mitsubishi CRJ-200 at the .org and sorry, it’s a Challenger 850 instead of a CL-300. Hard to tell them apart sometimes especially when your memories fading off in the distance.
I have DDens 300 and it is one of the better add-ons for X-plane and at a realistic price. A fun, almost study level, aircraft. Fly it a lot.

I like to download new freeware at x-plane.org, check them out, and decide what is worth keeping. Here are three worthy of a download.
TU-160. CIS answer to the B-1 called "The Swan". Good cockpit with g1000, great sounds, flies great, but could use a repaint and a few tweeks here and there.
The Canberra. Nicely done with cartridge start, bombs, and missles
BD-5J - Fun from take off to landing. A little scooter with g1000 or steam gauges
All three are worth checking out and the authors are worthy of recognition. Freeware is a great part of the X-Plane community and I for one, am greatful to those that share their work with us.
