@ Falcon409 or Napacon - I just looked for Skytop here on SOH. It's not in the library. Found where Michael had made it, but the drop box has been taken down. Michael hasn't been on here for over a year. Do either one of you have the Skytop scenery still zipped ? Took the 'Raptor' there a bit ago and it is lacking as default.
    (Ed, I just d/l your Downsville . . . . needed a place to land.)

I soloed in one of these and still prefer to fly them when on my own. They are more brisky than the 172s usually available for hire. Unfortunately all three of them at the club are not flying due to lack of funds to pay for their insurance...

Great repaint! I saw the initial post of the real one and loved it! For which model is it for? I only have the Carenado one (152) and agree that the FDE is not that good.

Who could have guessed? A Old Pic Posted with an old plane..And Suddenly Mr. jimbiii creates a new plane..for me a very personnel thing..BEAUTIFUL PAINT...and now its SKYTOP..This Grass strip atop a mountain in Roscoe NY...A while Back Michal from MCDESIGNS made it this NY03.....He did a GREAT JOB,,and some of us will never let it go....Again for me a Personel thing..my Second home,Literally..Lots of flying from the country strip....Elevation: 2094 ft Turf 1540 x 110 ft,,Plenty of trees..A One way runway....Skiis in winter...In the Michael Version of SKYTOP he has to many trees at the end of south end..In fact this strip is like a table top..flat Takeoffs no obstacles...But So happy to get this I Respectfully made no comments at the time ...saying this for accuracy now,and for others to know,or repair....Thnx all!

Glad For You Manfred..Falcon Just Great!.That was my home strip..In reality its on a mountain Top..NY03 sits at Elevation: 2094 ft.Runway 1540 x 110 ft.The turf runway is 18 -36//with all T O and landings restricted to Rny 18....Using a pattern for .landing , never full flaps for quick go around..Deer live here...While ths scenery is excellent..its in error..There are no trees on the end of Rny 18...A chain Saw is needed here..Rather its like a table top or a carrier and lift off puts you at altitude and clear of any obstructions...Twins And Heavy planes have been here.Note pics in other posts...Its a wonderful area..Rural,resorts....Enjoy and HAPPY LANDINGS!!.....................................

Yes, napacon, I am a happy camper thanks to Falcon409.

I am looking forward to some nice low and slow experience this weekend. Also looking at getting the Special offer from GAS for this to play around with in this scenery. (oh and of course the newly released repaint by Falcon409 for the FrenchVFR C-150L.

And even if the scenery is not a 100% accurate, any improvement from FSX default is very welcome, and highly appreciated,

Boy oh boy, I am in for an awesome Easter weekend.

Been flying out of and in to Falcon409's VERY nice renditions of above mentioned locations, and having a whole lotta fun.

Do have an elevation issue when taxiing to the mantenance hangar in Downsville, but will send a PM to Falcon409 on that, as I don't want to hijack this thread.

I flew N5980G, also a '69, back in the late 70s. I just looked it up and it is still flying! It's up in Alaska right now. That's a long ways from sunny south Florida where I flew her! Very cool! (pun was actually not intended!!) That GULF set the old gears thinking!
