Mikko's Maule in FSX

Hello all,
I recently crossed over into FSX, having finally acquired a computer with the capability to handle it.
I have a couple of questions regarding Mikko Maliniemi's magnum opus, the Maule M/T-7. Don't get me wrong, the default Maule is nice but I really would like a tri-gear with the extra seat in the baggage compartment (that and the tundra tired version rocks!).
For the most part it shows up pretty good. I'm likely going to swap out the prop for something a little less blurry, but what really flummoxes me is the right side of the instrument panel. I see the indicator needles but there is just grey in the background. In certain lighting conditions it looks like FS's attempt to show a chrome/mirrored surface. The gauge bezels on the left side have this issue as well.
I've already tried to swap out instruments from the default Maule and got the same result. Any ideas as to what I should look for to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Good to see you over on the Dark side Drzook! Regarding the Maule...ah the joys of porting-over Fs9 aircraft to FsX. Some play relatively nicely, but others have various incompatibility issues and nearly all have the "prop behind the clouds" issue where the rest have all the autogen disappearing when viewed through the prop disk.

Maybe someone here has done work on Mikko's Maule??

Well, this is interesting,

I attempted to change the MAP/FF gauge and RPM gauge with one of those 'All-in-one' gauges (looks like an EFIS on a kitplane; pretty cool gauge anyway); anyway look at the right side of the panel. It looks like it is hiding behind the panel.

I think you can find him from FSNordic forums, he is there Admin and allmost everyday visiting.

I would greatly appreciate seeing a comprehensive FSX port of all the liveries in Mikko's Maule package, as it is one of my all-time favorite aircraft.

Although the FSX default Maule is 'a good start', I miss all the "other" liveries, and hope Mikko would approve (and perhaps even help out with ?) ...an FSX port of this excellent aircraft.

It has been so long, so I may be wrong about this.
I seem to remember Norcal Props. doing Mikko's Maule, the gauges were all working in FSX.
Is there a flightsim website that still has Norcal's downloads?

Okay, login to Fightsim first, then search for m7260_11.zip


You can (or at least I can) search for files and Flightsim will pull up results, there is a download/view option and unless you have previously loged in, you get the login first reminder.
That is the business rules over there. I think it is similar here.

Thanks for the links and input guys
I downloaded the Nor-Cal Maule and found that the panel ports over to the wheeled version pretty much straight-up. If you notice the MP and tach are from other aircraft but it works. I found it interesting that that landing gear lever from the amphibian does not show up at all on the tri-gear even though I didn't do anything to comment it out. I am thinking I won't be able to put another gauge there but oh well...It also had an option for a Bendix-King stack and since I am much more used to that than the Apollo stack I put on the B-K avionics. Had to do some tweaking on the center stack to make it all fit properly but overall it looks good...
