    OZX Grumman Goose HD Redux

When I come to a stop in this plane and the throttle is fully closed, the engines will shut off. If I leave it cracked open slightly it will idle. Is this normal for this plane?
Other plane will not shut down like this when I position the throttle at full closed.

If I recall correctly from the release thread for this, it is standard behavior for the Goose to do that.

Minimum 1000 RPM after start up.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

There is a plugin called RealEngine v1.4 that will also simulate fouled spark plugs if you run your engine at a too-low RPM on the ground. I have adapted it for the OZX Grumman Goose if you wish to try it: read more about it here in my post.

    A nice blue goose

Would like a repaint of this Goose preferably in the Ozx HD version. I like the colors.

    2nd choice

My second choice repaint request. (For the Ozx HD Version)

..and where might one find this latest repaint?

If at first you don't succeed, try, try,try again. ... or go read the manual.

I did it for GE and thought I'd get feedback before letting it out. Also had a software glitch that's taken time to resolve. Will do the light blue one then post both.

PS - The wings texture mapping isn't really suitable for post -42 colour schemes so won't be that accurate. Might also attempt an RAF one sometime.

    Dave,

Re: the military paints. Would you consider providing the option for no wing insignia? My personal pref would be none versus too many.

Too bad the wings are mirrored.

    Thanks Super Dave.

Thanks for the FDE update, it doesn't bob up so high out of the water and sits a bit lower and looks more like it should.
I don't know what the panel update was suppose to change or do, But I did add it to the changes.

    Thanks.

Thanks Trucker17 for this repaint. I manged to come up with configuration info to add to the aircraft.cfg file for this livery.

Dont make em like they use to

Too bad they don't make these for FSX. And the door on the nose opens.

If I remember correctly, it was just a small fix to one of the minor gauges (I forget which one) so that it displays the accurate values. It should be in his documentation file.

    Glad I could help!
