This is going to be a rare jewel when it's finished. I haven't seen this much high caliber work on an FS9 project in ages - the SOH project F7F and Lockheeds are pretty close, but this Mallard seems to be setting the bar another notch higher! I can't wait to see the finished products!

It is shaping up nicely for FS9 for sure.

LDR is taking the FSX native side several notches higher and that will be something to behold as well.

Making final mapping adjustments to the turboprop now so Firekitten can wrap up the base panel line/rivet textures and paint kit differences for the wing and engines. Then she'll be off to the paint shop as well.

I have the Grumman G-73T Alpha package available for painters now.

PM me if you are interested; this is NOT a beta test package; it is strictly for painters.

Work continues on the G-73T as I await beta feedback on the Ventura. Cleaning up the more sleek version, updating here and there, and adding wing lights. Sounds ... by Nigel ... awesome.

Textures borrowed from radial are temporary of course. :-)

Chalk's skin would be nice to see in this plane.

    That's looking really good!
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Well, with the Harpoons, Lodestars, Ventura, and Commander 685 now released, I am down to the Mallards, radial and turbprop remaining.

Our focus is to get the Mallard radial completed, mainly awaiting textures, and then on to wrap up the turboprop.

Real life and family always come first. No need to apologize. Good things will come to those who wait. :-)

Is the Mallard going to have a 2D panel? I always like to fly 2D and notice the 685 was really made for VC flying. The 2D in the 685 is from the 500. Is the Mallard going to take the same route?
