    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the support so far.

    Most users have reported successful installation and are running.

    We have been monitoring the issues as usual and can report that we are working on:

    1) AI issues when player is not lead:

    Issue:

    AI issues when player is not lead including circling and crashing of AI - we will soon be testing the fix to this..

    Temporary Workarounds:

    Enlist and always play with the highest Rank

    Users can elect to always lead by setting the Always Lead in the Player Flight Position setting in workshops.

    Hate to be a pain in the butt . . .But

    Speaking only for myself, while some features, might need customizing, other do not.

    I'd be reluctant to install one Fix-all, where all changes are initiated at once

    The Kill Report being the best example: I like it just the way it is, others want it gone. Why should I lose a feature, that I enjoy, in order to please the X-Box crowd

    Excellent Winder! I moaned a bit about my claims being rejected but that was just part of the immersion! I am 100% sure the REAL pilots of the time moaned about it too! It's good to offer choices, but I like it just the way it is.

    Avoid Warp until 1.2 is out - select an optional mission that is close to airfield to save time.

    Progress:

    Fixed in 1.2 - testing

    8) Inability to adjust spread of aircraft main and rear guns individually to players preference in workshops (Grouped to one control Selection in Workshops)

    Issue:
    If you select easy main guns rear gunners shoot you easily too as they are grouped from a Workshops selection POV despite being individual gun types with individual parameters in craft in sim.
    Temporary Workarounds:
    None
    Progress:
    Individual settings allocated in Workshops to control rear and main gun spread separately - depending on your role.

    Fixed in 1.2 - testing

    Sometimes bringing up the map during a mission will abort it. Player returns to duty room and nothing is recorded. Error message is see log.txt in campaign data for more details. Last error occurred during scramble with Lafayette Esc. Americaine.

    Lower your sliders for terrain and scenery - sounds like GPU memory shortage.

    Please dont post 'your issues' in this thread - use the main forum or e-mail us on support.

    1) MP mismatch error on Vista:

    Issue:

    The classic CFS3 MP mismatch error occurs on Vista deployments - PLEASE NOTE This is a CFS3 bug as experienced in vanilla CFS3 and hence CFS3 MP is no longer functional.....but for OFF I hope to have a fix soon!

    In 1.2 MP connectivity issues were addressed.

    Temporary Workarounds:

    None that are easily accessible to users

    2) Log File text runs off of the bottom of the display with lengthy claim reports

    Issue:

    Lengthy claim reports cause text to scroll off of the bottom of the screen

    Temporary Workarounds:

    None.... other than type less! (but not for long)

    Progress:

    Fixed - testing in progress - Fix will not affect players existing campaigns when deployed and no data will be lost


    3) Some early craft have mission altitudes set to high

    Issue:


    Some early craft sometimes have player mission altitudes set above the max ceiling that the craft can achieve.

    Temporary Workarounds:

    Set Player Flight Altitude in workshops to Medium or Low if in a campaign with early craft.

    Progress:

    Fixed - testing in progress

    Manually edit mission after building to ensure player flight use _sqd type craft (with pit)

    Progress:
    Fixed - Craft to be used in Mission builder that have a cockpit are now identified with a '*' after the name.
