Just a question. Is it still 1.2? Or should it be 1.3?

Issues Being worked on For Update/Patch 1.25 :Progress update: 17/2/09
1) MP mismatch error on Vista:
Issue:
The classic CFS3 MP mismatch error occurs on Vista deployments - PLEASE NOTE This is a CFS3 bug as experienced in vanilla CFS3 and hence CFS3 MP is no longer functional.....but for OFF I hope to have a fix soon!
In 1.2 MP connectivity issues were addressed.
Temporary Workarounds:
None that are easily accessible to users
Progress:
Coded - testing in progress
2) Log File text runs off of the bottom of the display with lengthy claim reports
Issue:
Lengthy claim reports cause text to scroll off of the bottom of the screen
Temporary Workarounds:
None.... other than type less! (but not for long)
Progress:
Fixed - testing in progress - Fix will not affect players existing campaigns when deployed and no data will be lost
3) Some early craft have mission altitudes set to high
Issue:
Some early craft sometimes have player mission altitudes set above the max ceiling that the craft can achieve.
Temporary Workarounds:
Set Player Flight Altitude in workshops to Medium or Low if in a campaign with early craft.
Progress:
Fixed - testing in progress
4) Cannot Identify correct craft in Mission builder to use in mission
Issue:
Selecting the wrong craft in the MB (they all are called the same) renders in sim with no cockpit - i.e an AI craft
Temporary Workarounds:
Manually edit mission after building to ensure player flight use _sqd type craft (with pit)
Progress:
Fixed - Craft to be used in Mission builder that have a cockpit are now identified with a '*' after the name.
5) Cloud Draw issues - interior of clouds incorrectly rendered
Issue:
Interior of clouds are incorrectly rendered.
Temporary Workarounds:
None
Progress:
Fixed for V1.25

Update to V1.25 is now released - be sure to check out the new workshop settings.

Issues Being worked on For Update/Patch 1.3 :Progress update: 20/2/09
1) Aircraft Altitude Performance:
Issue:
Some Craft are not meeting performance criteria at altitude and so cannot always manage to fly at the altitude set by the campaign manager (although this is within the aircraft's historical performance rating)
Temporary Workarounds:
Set Medium or Low altitude limits in workshop if flying in early years
Progress:
Modifications and fixes in progress for V1.3
WM

I still have to use the remame process to make multiplayer work in Vista. Patched to 1.25 but now i am getting 2 error messages. One on start "error creating file for online play"If you continue to multiplayer and get to doff manager screen and hit mutiplayer you get the following message"patch dll error: file to patch c:\program files\microsoft games\crfsww1 over flanders fields\cfs3.exe not fount
I am running Vista 32 home premium with the latest patches.
Hope this helps
Coldad
Please dont post issues here - either contact us on support or post in the main forum - the MP issues were solved and tested on XP and Vista for 1.2 and 1.25.
1.25 creates a renamed exe but clearly your install is not allowing this to happen as per the error messages you are getting!
Why not post for some help from other XP and Vista users who are already running successfully on 1.25?
The fact that OFF reports it cannot create the exe means that it will not work - make sure :
1) you have full admin rights
2) UAC is turned off and
3) You are running under XP compatibility
4) that you actually have a CFS3.exe in your main OFF folder.
Post in the normal section.
