    Hi Roger!

Steve has made a few changes - mainly striving to improve the VC and general shadowing - including HD shadowing for all sizes of aircraft, and to a good degree he's been quite successful, creating much more accurate and consistent shadowing than that when using the DX9 API. The manual has received some changes too, reflecting the altered shadowing screens, etc.. nothing too drastic. I suspect the early changes - defect fixes - were much easier than the small incremental "look and feel" work which he's doing now.

Glad to see Adam's doc out there - he certainly has the talent, doesn't he!

    All the Best,

    pj

    Your cheque's in the post

With the release of Fixer 2.4, I don't think there's anything I need to change in the "How-To" guide (as it's more to do with setting up FSX/DX10 in general). There may [hopefully] be a whole raft of new Fixer users coming on-board now, so I really would recommend most people attempt to plough through the "How-To" *before* they install the Fixer. It may save hours of tweaking and/or frustration!

I think one of the things that impacted on Steve's quality of life was the volume of support calls he was expected to answer - many of which weren't specifically Fixer-related. If we can offload any of that in any way, then it benefits us all.

    Adam.

I don't, other than what information he provided in the posting on his blog.

BTW, I have several of the repaints you did for the AeroSoft/Octopus Wilga. They are brilliant! Thank you for doing them.

    Regards,
    Michael
