Thanks for posting this, be sure to watch the video included. It's hard to believe that so many survived.
I watched the movie of the same name with George C. Scott not too long ago. At the risk of sounding like a compleat idiot, I never read or heard about any investigations that may or may not have come up with any viable reasons for the crash. In the movie, the hint of sabotage was one of the dominant factors for the plot.
Still, one of the most horrific disasters ever...
