    Hi panther,
Not got that far yet.Only halfway through disc 3 of 4th series.Remember in the UK in the box set disc 1 is Razor.Do not know if it is the same in the US.
Also you may have seen the last episode that is series 5.that has not been shown in the UK yet.
Also it could be the Cylons from Earth may have stayed behind to defend the planet while the humans got away.

    The "5th" Cylon is... humanity.

On 'Earth' the Cylons evolved and created their own skinjobs. Skinjobs evolved until they were a threat to the original mechanical Cylons... and then comes the holocaust as the Cylons wipe out the skinjobs. Most of the dead found were skinjobs, not the unknown mechanical Cylons...

It's all happened before, and will happen again.

Of course it might all change if Dekker comes along and starts killing skinjobs because they fail the VoiComp test.

    Thank you P!

Of course, the trick is that someone has to release the Centurions and Raiders from their blind-obedience mode. Only then can the mechanical Cylons decide that skinjobs are using the mechanicals to fight their battles for them and that skinjobs are the threat that needs to be eliminated.

    Hi all,
Just finished series 4.Not seen the 5th series yet as it has not been shown. Is it just one feature lenght episode or several episodes.
Any way had a thought about the 5th Cylon. It could be Starbucks brand new and shiny Viper. After all the 5 unknown Cylons were supposed to be in the fleet at the time of them finding earth.

That's that tincan's name I couldn't remember...... "Count Iblis". Thanks Panther.

    She's probably his daughter.

    Nope, nope, nope....

What if Earth is a giant resurrection hub that works for both humans and cylons? That would partially explain Starbuck (though not her Viper), and it could mean the return of Dee.

There could also be a religious explanation as well. When we see Laura burning her "Bible", it could be foreshadowing the appearance of the "Gods". Maybe the Gods are cylons? Maybe Starbuck is a God.

They could also be playing off the association of the name "Starbuck" with the sirens of Greek mythology (because of the Starbuck's Coffee logo). In a sense, Kara is a siren calling them all to their doom.

    I love this show.
