Thread: FS2004 Screenshots Here!!!

I was too busy scrubbing Sally's exhaust stains off our roof to call her Pete.

I'm about 30 miles away from Biggin Hill, so usually get some interesting birds flying over on a weekend, 30 miles in the other direction is Headcorn whose Battle of Britain weekend is .... well, this weekend so I'm looking forward to some more exotica.

Yes! NormB taught me how to make the model visible in VC view, then adjust the eyepoint to put it where it should be so you can look out from inside the cockpit. I've done that with other planes too. I did it for the re-skinned re-release of the old T4M that doesn't have a real VC. It's great as long as you keep looking outside and don't look down into the shell of the model.

90 years ago, on July 1st 1933, Italo Balbo left Orbetello for the 10th Year Air Cruise (Crociera Aerea del Decennale) and 100 years ago the Italian Air Force was founded.

Thanks for the reminder. And what about Orbetello itself?

    Orbetello

Thanks for the tip with "Idroscalo" scenery. It effectively would need several altitude adjustments to get it work correctly without UT. Therefore I stay with an other "Orbetello" scenery, done for FS2002 by Les Jones in 2019.

    Quatorze juillet 85 years ago.....

The first RAF squadron to receive the new fighter in late 1937 was 111 Squadron, which showed off its new aircraft at the Villacoublay Air Show in France on Bastille Day 1938.

When my kids were still young we always had our summer holidays in France in this period. We used to climb a hill in the evening to watch the fire works.

    Huub

    Pete

Don't be hatin' too hard on FS2002.

I basically maxed it out with what I wanted and converted a ton of FS9 aircraft and gauges to run in it.
The only downside was losing weather coverage (although I did save enough global weather for some year-round variation).

I still fire it up every now and then, FS2002 still beats FS9 in some graphic areas. It just looks better at dawn, dusk, and night.

IL-76 with nose radome, by Ilya Kulikov (no VC version) aka monumentum, at avsimrus.
