Great shots to me ... because i use FSX most for naval operations
Ell-Ess-Tea.... AKA Large Slow Target, flat out maybe 12 knots. These hulls were also used as a base for a number of useful auxillery vessels such as repair ships to accompany the invasion fleets. Some still soldiered on during Vietnam! Surprisingly the time and materials to build these simple appearing ships were greater than the much larger Victory Ships. Much of WWII grand strategy revolved around what Chuchill called (something named LST?). Availability of landing craft was so critical many major fleet units were delayed or canceled.
Then there was CVE, Carrier, heavier than air, Escort. Also combustible, vulnerable, expendable. Not the most glamorous duty, but there when needed.

Indeed, I figured they deserve a place in FSX next to all the thoroughbred corvettes and cruisers :-)
Attachment 92528Attachment 92529It wont be very much longer now that we should be able to implement these fine ships into N/E.I get excited every time I think about it. Looking " GREAT"...! :salute:

It is great to see colleagues filling the seas with wonderful ships
Now, some ships I have in the shipyard. I´ll pay a glass of wine and a "tapa" to anyone who guesses all of them

Good day, Jagl04 and gentlemen
This is a masterpiece from Spain, Many times I've been on her and spent 2-3 nights on her during the Royal Thai Navy's exercise and wishing to see her in FSX. Me and many more people in Thai FSX community would be glad and proud the most

Oh man. The ship sim guys are gonna be getting envious!
Almost there, Francois...

And, golly, I wish Mr. Watkins would answer a email, though I may not have a current address. She's all ready, MDL X , animations and transparency's all fixed, helipad in,
I just need to do lightmaps for the missing ones.

Your LST's look AWESOME !!!!!!! Can't wait ! (Will still continue my own.. low-poly models for the project)
Wish I could work faster and get all the planned models designed and textured !
Any news on the ships Bruce? I am really liking that Iver Huitfeldt class.

You can find the Iver Huitfeld in the AI ship pack created by Henrik Neilsen, and also as a pilotable ship. Both versions can be downloaded at simviation
Best regards
Very interesting thread and fantastic stuff here! Thanks to all the authors of those magnificient vessels!!!
Is there any Italian ship, such as Horizon class, or Fremm, or Maestrale class? It would be great to follow them in the Mediterranean Sea!
And you can find both the the Horizon and the Fremm class - and loads of other navy ships - here: http://royalefrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Navires.htm
