    B-29 inbound ...in AI form

I've not been on the MAIW forums for a while ,but just had a post appear on my Facebook ticker mentioning the B-29 Superfortress that is being built by the prolific AI model guru,John Young! Both FS9 and FSX variants are planned afaik. Perfect for the retro Iwo Jima!

See here for details (you need to be registered on the MAIW forums to view) http://www.militaryaiworks.com/newfo...12940&start=20

Fantastic timing, this will definitely be seen flying from Saipan which is where the 497th BG was based, when the upcoming Marianas 1945. Saipan is finished. Working on Guam as I write. Good find Kilo Delta.

    Great find indeed!

With cowl-flaps, it seems - pretty snazzy.

I'm thinking Korea too, would be a great application of these!

John also released a set of Buccs - they absolutely rock - between his Hunters, Vulcans, Buccs, and Victors, the AI world has taken a wonderful step back into the 60s and 70s. With a B-29, that really opens possibilities another two decades further back.

    Great stuff!

With a repaint we can have a Boeing Washington! I remember reading that on some of them the wartime nose-art was still faintly visible.
Rats - why won't anything work properly first time?

I believe that a Washington is a possibility, according to John.

Imagine a few stray TU-4 Bulls milling around the Strait of Formosa or Bering Strait ... might give the F4D Skyrays and F-89s something to do!
