    Pressing the alt key twice has no effect, either on the oscillation that starts when the gear comes up, or with the machine gun stutter. It pauses the game and the feedback continues while it is paused.

    This is New to me.
    Thank goodness for smilo.

    Dave
    This is with the stock planes that come with the game. So far it is with Hurricanes, Spitfires, P47, P51, and Me109.

    I've gotten used to it and can apply my makeshift key-press fixes without too much trouble. Of course, it would be a disadvantage flying against other pilots.

    sorry, i am clueless why this is happening,
    but keep talking, maybe we'll stumble over the answer.

    p51, b17 and a b24?
    that would be a treat.
    all you need is a lanc.
    just the sound of those things
    gives me goos bumps.

    a friend rode in the p51 a few years back.
    i think he might have wet himself.
    at least, he had a good excuse.
    there's no way i could afford something like that.
    thank goodness for those who can.
    that money keep 'em flying.

    "P-51!!! CADILLAC OF THE SKY!!!"

    name that movie
    i can vouch for the goose bumps when a Lancaster flies by, a couple of years ago I was running a bus service up in the Welsh valleys and i heard the unmistakeable growl/rumble/roar of a multi merlin aircraft. Stuck my head out of my window and 250 to 300 feet above me was PA474 (BofB memorial Flight) Lancaster. Wow...a few motorists advised me of my error in stopping on a junction by requesting my fathers name as printed on my birth certificate but what the hell. I wouldn't have swopped those few seconds for anything.
    The film...Batmans first movie wasn't it?

    great news, Mike.
    this is what we like to hear.

    did you know that the AAC has moved
    to the Pacific Theater of Operations?

    you will still need cfo, the modified classlist
    teamspeak2 client and tailgunner2.
    get them here;
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/IPSquadrons.htm

    and checkout Ivan's brand new A6M2 Reisen 21
    and other aircraft here;
    http://www.thefreeflightsite.com/Ivans.htm

    there is also an aircraft carrier available,
    but, she is in dry dock for repairs.
    she should be good to go in a few days.

    no problem, Mike
    glad to be of assistance.
    just noticed that i didn't link to teamspeak2 client.
    do you need that one, too, or do you have it?

    there is also a landable carrier in the works.
    i uploaded one, but it has some issues
    that are in the process of being worked out.
    will be operational, soon

    Not sure what the AAC is using, I would suggest the PTO here, bottom of page

    Of course it would not break my heart if you also looked at My Corsica and Italy sceneries,

    The oscillation in the joystick begins when the gear comes up. Mouse clicking off the screen, which usually pauses the game, and then clicking back in the game window usually clears it. It doesn't do it all the time, about 4 out of 5 times or so. It also starts sometimes if I take a flak hit.
    The oscillation issue, which usually began with the first thump of the gear coming up after take-off, has resolved itself. Initially it happened not every time but most of the time. It hasn't happened in the last two or three dozen take-offs. So, the fix wasn't anything I did, but the fact that it finally went away is good news for anybody who experiences this same problem.

    Thanks to everybody for helping me get through the Windows 7 problems

    hello Mike,
    from what i have seen so far,
    the AAC is using Bill Potvin's CFSHawaii
    and Edmundo Abad's Ford Island
    they were emailed out to the guys,
    but i would imagine the are at flightsim.
    if you can't find them, let me know
    and i will get them to you.

    edit;
    look here;

    hello spectru,
    that is good to hear.
    sorry i wasn't able to come up with a fix for you.
    i always like the ones that fix themselves.
