    New LHD available

The Spanish Armada LHD Juan Carlos I is available to download here at simouthouse. It operates AV8Bplus Harrier, Seakings, Chinooks, Bell 212, SH 60 and Eurocopter Tigers, but is also capable to operate F35 B and Ospreys.
    Happy flights and safe landings

Very nice, are those AI EAV-8B's in the one shot? I need a boat to fly the RAZBAM bird to.

My apologies. It was not my intention to post the refuel ship yet, But, since it is my error, I wil upload the A 14 Patiño as soon as possible. Attachment 78297

I think the same goes for the F101 "AdB", right? Will you release that one too? I am really looking forward for some new ships in port - especially auxillaries, we have all too few of them in FSX!

Seawing, you´re right. The AI carrier config file I included was larger than the one I intended to include in this release. In the readme file I only explain three configurations. The F101 (Alvaro de Bazán class, for the Aussie colleagues Hobart class) will be released very soon to escort the L61. (The screenshot was done by my friend Corsario)

Its a beautiful model, but I must confess that I think the ship is not looking very elegant (to put it mildly).

    Cheers,

Thank you Jagl04 for your work.
It's fantastic land in the BPE with the F-35B of Dino&Team.

Hi Huub. When I uploaded the "Zeven Provincien" frigate (for FS9) you wrote something like "modern ships look like damaged shoeboxes". I agree - absolutely. The Juan Carlos I is not elegant at all, but is really efficient. The only beautiful ship the Armada has is this. But it is really difficult to practise landings with a Harrier.

Hi again. For those interested in a scort ship for the LHD Juan Carlos, the F 101 is now available to dowload here at simouthouse. Of course, you can practise helicopter landings on her deck.
The fleet oiler will come soon.

    Hi jagl04,

is it just me seeing solid windshields on the on-board Harriers? Maybe I screwed up a texture?

    Seawing

  18. #18
No, it is not a missing texture. It is due to a problem with materials when converting FS9 objects to FSX. Harriers without that bug where much more complex and overpassed the capacity of Xtomdl to compile the object.

  19. #19
Ah, ok, no problem! I was just wandering, whether it would be me causing it ;-)
Keep it up! Looking foreward to the oiler!!
