Think of the children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those B-17 crewmembers. They have been able to live and enjoy their lives because that Me-109 driver allowed his human decency to control his actions, rather than his fighter pilot instinct. Hand salute :salute: and RIP to Herr Stigler, and Charlie Brown and crew.
