    Hi Barnes

    thank you very much It was a tri-pacer that we once had and converted it to tailwheel
    very touchy on take off but a great joy to fly once again thanks out of all the types of a/c that I flew over 40 years of
    flying I still say the piper pacers were the best great little a/c

    Hey guys,

    Anyone know of any progress getting the lower panel knobs functioning in FSX, also the front windshield graphic bug? Still digging the package otherwise myself.

    Click the wallet on the passenger seat.

  8. #233
    I certainly clicked lots of things, but never the wallet :0

    Thanks,

    Dave

    I didn't see a light effect in the aircraft cfg for the white position light on the tail. Is there a way to tone it down a bit? It's awfully BRIGHT!!

    Thanks for the plane. It's really neat and has an P3D installer which is great! Perfect little plane(s) for my personal discovering of NZ.

    P.S the three window modes? Are they based on textures cuz I'd still love for it to be a little more transparent. I don't mind the bugs, just don't want too much of a different view of the outside world from inside the pit.

    Four thumbs up (monkey style).:salute:

    Scroll towards the bottom of this page: http://www.lionheartcreations.com/Piper_Pacer and look for blue text "Super Clear Interior Plexi". That might clear up the windows.

    I've got to get this airplane for myself. Counting the pennies.

    Thanks Frank. I had missed that. I usually stop paying attention after I've seen all the pics!

    If you try to fail,
    and you succeed,
    which have you done?

    The transparency is based on the alpha channel. You can go in and leave the bugs but make it less hazed or whatever you want. Personally, I left the outside haze but made the instruments a little more clear. That way as the windshield gets dirtier the instruments do not

    Just got this yesterday...

    Bill, I have a few of your planes and they are all pretty fab, but....

    This is the best!

    I swear I can smell the leather and Avgas; the cockpits are perfect! This is going to be a favourite! Well done!

    Now, I just have to see if there are some nice painters out there interested in an aussie scheme...
    "What do you hear?" "Nothing but the rain!" "Then grab your gun and bring the cat in!" "Boom, boom, boom!"

    Thanks Dex!

    Posting a paint scheme as your wish list and an N-number might help the painters out there.

    Happy flying,

    2 textures are missing

    I don't know if this was ever reported:

    In version
    - Piper_Pacer_LHC_180
    there are two aircrafts missing.
    Aircraft.cfg has 13 planes [fltsim.0] to [fltsim.12]
    but only 11 planes of this type are shown in FSX.

    Missing:

    [fltsim.3]
    title=Piper Pacer PA-20-180 3
    ...
    texture=N8945D
    ...

    [fltsim.4]
    title=Piper Pacer PA-20-180 4
    ...
    texture=N6929D
    ...

    Both textures are not in this folder. So these planes will not be displayed.

    Maybe Lionheart is reading here.

    I think you'll find both textures in the folder 'Piper_Tri_Pacer_LHC'. You will need to copy (not move) them to the 'Piper_Pacer_LHC_180' folder

    ADF for the UK???

    I'm enjoying the tri-pacer enormously - especially in the UK with the ORB-X scenery - but has anyone solved the problem that some UK adf frequencies are in 0.5Khz steps and the Piper's ADF gauge seems to only accept 1 KHz increments.... It's not a killer but it would be nice to be able to use these navaids.

    The KR86 radio is old and does not tune tens of a kHz so no 0.5 offsets. You would could install a 2d panel ADF to get the additional digits.

    I like this plane very much indeed. Meanwhile I already spent a lot of hours with the bush version.
    Nevertheless,
    is there an expert who can give me advice how to remove the shine from the outer skin of the fuselage (repaint)?
