    Best FSX backup options?

    I have a general back-up question;

    What would be the best option to back-up FSX and all of it's components (including add-on software), in order to later install the whole pack to another PC after a fatal system crash (and then a different configuration, and possibly even a different OS)?

    Suggestions are very welcome (both free and payware).

    Thanks in advance.

    Restore to a different config/OS is a big ask. Short of that, here's my take, which is based on image backups. As an aside, I would be interested to hear from anyone using a Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 motherboard, as I am having problems making a rescue CD for my new PC that will let me see the disk drives
