Description: The Curtiss SB2C replaced the Douglas SBD in Nov of1943, not well received by most Naval Dive Bomber pilots who didn't think itwas a fitting replacement for the sturdy reliable and well-liked SBD. It wascalled the "Son of a Bitch 2nd Class ", "The Beast" and the"Big Assed Bird". E.B.A. (???????? ???????? ????????? / RoyalHellenic Air Force) received more than 37 SB2C-5 since spring of 1949 and usedthem until the end of the Civil War against communist rebel troops. The lastHellenic "Helldiver" was retired during 1952. Texture set only for anaircraft belonged to 336th Bomber Sqdn. (M.E.B.) of the Royal Hellenic AirForce (E.B.A.) during 1949/50.These textures require the new and beautifulFREEWARE FS9 Curtiss SB2C-4 HELLDIVER by Wolfang 'Wolfi' Faber downloadable athttp://www.sim-outhouse.com.
