wing warping, they basicly pulled the tips of the wing up or down useing pullys, very common in the early planes, till someone clever invented the ailerons
Heres a look at how it works on the Fokker EIII http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHNpb...layer_embedded

Interesting bit of history over invention of the aileron. It's now attributed to a man named Boulton who patented the idea in the latter 1800's, Before the invention of the airplane.
It was the fight over the control surfaces of the first aircraft that led the Wright's to sue anyone in the immediate area. Well, that and they were a bit whacko.....
This will be an interesting model to see. Good work!
Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there."
Fingers crossed for the project. The Taube is awesome design.
Thanks guys, Here are some more pics from 3ds Max, I have tried animating the wing warping but its so complex using skinned animations and the SDK doesn't really help, so I might have to leave it un-animated.
