    Have fun Walter and stick with it....even when it gets frustrating.

    When people ask me if flying is hard I tell them no, not in itself. What is difficult is learning to do a lot of things at once.

    Once you develop the muscle memory for handling the aircraft and your mind assumes those tasks without using your higher level functions, you will find it becomes much easier.
    Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there."

    I agree with TeaSea. Most especially the part about muscle memory. If you have to think too long about what to do, it's probably too late....
