Thanks Steve for the repaints, they look great! The repaints will add a lot more variety to choose from.
I like this little plane, been flying it around a bit.
Nigel, the sounds that came with it are from a Sea Fury's Centaurus.Somebody mentioned that it had a turbocharger whine in it as well. Don't know if that would be the right kind of sound for it. I'm using it until somebody comes up with a more appropriate soundset for it, haven't been able to find one for it yet.
There's vids of yak-11s on Youtube to listen to for comparision to this soundset, and if it doesn't sound similiar then perhaps it deserves a better soundset for it that would sound more like a yak-11.

There's one flying over here that has an actual R1830 in the nose. It's also been converted to a single-seater and called a 'Yak-3U' which it obviously isn't..

I've seen some repaints up already, @ Simviation, FSX/Vintage catagory. (They're good for FS9 too.)

The first page you're directed to in this link shows a B-24J that was Greece's first post-war airliner. It has the proper paint scheme applied to the aircraft, however, it uses the Alphasim B-24J as a model and it was not possible to remove the turrets/gunners. If it could be done this would be a real one-of-a-kind model for this bird as I've never heard of a B-24 airliner save for the C-87/C-109 variants, which were properly transports, not airliners. The file has documentation proving the aircraft did exist - in fact still does, as a relic or, more likely, derelict in Alaska. I'll bet it was a fantastic ride by that picture window in the waist.

Since nobody else has mentioned it yet I am guessing I am forgetting something when starting the airplane from cold and dark I can not get the attitude indicator to erect. ( No not what some of you "juveniles" now think )
Is there a switch or button or valve I need to turn to get vacuum to the gyros for them to spin up ???
The only click spot on the gauge itself is for the caging of the gyros and it doesn't ever get to the stage where I need to do that...it's already tumbled and broken

Otherwise it is a thoroughly enjoyable plane to buzz around in for a while.

    Cheers
    Stefan.

I may have just answered my own question by....****. I noticed that there is a pneumatic valve (pos 31) that I know I did not activate.
Thanks for checking though....now I need to get out of the office and home to test my theory

    Cheers

) With the key "ALT" opening the top and click "Wiews"

    2) Open the 'Instruments' panel'

    3) Open the "Switches" and somewhere down the right to permanently put it - save it.

    4) Turn on all switches - you have all the electrics.

    5) Turn to lock the device

PS: Please JUSTICE, I do not speak English, I use Google Translator

Ah Stefan, you have to turn on a valve - pneumatic valve I think? Did you turn that on? It can be found in a 2D pop up of the cockpit instruments.

@Josef, your repaint looks good, thanks. Looking foward to putting it on my Yak.
