Another question if i may please...?

I'd love a high quality rotacraft like the Nemeth CH53, but from those I've seen, they look a little complicated to use. I can see the graphics are obviously top notch here. I'd hate to insult Nemeth, but can this addon use Ctrl+E to start, or any other simple and default commands?

Every Nemeth model I have (and I have them all bar that one) starts with engines running. Some of the older ones have an electrical supply plug-in (shift+1 then hit the connector) but that's about as much as you NEED to do. There are other switches you can 'make' but I can't think of one that starts 'cold'n'dark'. Don't be frightened of them.. none are as switch intensive as the Dodo 206

I have the Nemeth Designs Mi24 Hind for both FS9 and FSX, both are cold start and require a myriad of switch flipping and button pushing to get the engines lit. Once you get her going, she's a real joy to fly. I had to draw out panel diagrams and put the numbering order in place so I wouldn't have to pull the manual up every time I wanted to fly the model. Works pretty good.

Thanks for that. Before I splash out for this, I'd be really grateful to hear from anyone that has it, as to whether it can be started by FSX default control?

Yoyo, what CH-53 is that? I have the Virtavia CH-53 and MH-53's and love them. However, a CH-53 with the external tanks is not one I know.

That's odd.. I don't ever remember this with the ND Hind. Don't have it installed at the moment (reasonably fresh FSX install) but I'll install it again now. If this is the case.. it's the only ND model that requires starting from cold.

EDIT: Just installed it and it starts hot. I 'made' the 2 electrical contacts (Shift+2) as a precaution but there was no indication it would have shutdown if I hadn't.

Eric.. have you looked in 'My Purchases' (or something similar). Don't recall there ever being a delay in being able to download from Nemeth.
