Inventor of the mirror landing system dies

For those who are interested in carrier aviation; Rear Admiral Nicholas Goodhart has died.

It may have been over 30 years since we have used conventional aircraft carriers in the UK, but for the very few that still do its thanks to the Royal Navy for giving us the Angled Deck, Steam Catapults and this the Mirror Landing System.

Sad news that he has passed.
