Nice to see that McPhat is also doing the VC graphics. That is my only complaint about their MD-80's. The VC's are way too low resolution, so I don't even fly them.

Can't wait to see how this one progresses!

    Looks like it's real light on frames also? Saw these specs and couldn't help but chuckle;

Flight Simulator 9 or X With SP2 or Acceleration.
CPU Athlon or Pentium at 1.8 Ghz
512 MB system memory (preferably not shared)
Hard Disk: 1.5GB of free space available.
3D Video Card with at least 128MB unshared (not integrated graphics)

Anyone running FSX with such a machine, please speak up!

I'll now return to cleaning the shower....

Well worth the price IMHO, but I'll admit to being a full on DC9 enthusiast.

Well, seeing how Coolsky's MD-80 is regarded as one of the most performance friendly aircraft (with in-depth systems modeling), the DC-9 won't (hopefully) be that far off.

I've been pondering for a looooooooooong time about getting SkSim's DC-9, but my conscience just doesn't cooperate.

80 bucks is pretty hefty and difficult to reconcile, but i must admit that ive payed far more for a good aircraft ( a few times ). I guess for me personally, buying the plane would boil down to the quality of the support thats offered, and whether or not i could prove a need for that aircraft.. I have Skysims DC-9 and its a lovely little plane, but i dont fly with any VA's that use them, so for myself, that 80 dollars would be very difficult to justify, but she does look very very sweet..

    Impressive.

Can't wait to see if they make textures for the NGX. That'd be great!

Also new VC-shots at McPhat facebook-page are astounding.

Finally bought this a few days ago. And they've recently added repaints for the USN and USAF C-9

C-9 NIGHTINGALE SKYTRAIN II and VIP

The C-9 is the Military version of the DC-9 and it is based on the DC-9 Series 30.
It was produced in tree US military versions with a fourth for the Kuwuait Airforce.
The first is the C-9A Nightingale Aeromedical Evacuation aircraft built for the United States Air force.
The second is the C-9B Convertible passenger/cargo transport, for the US NAVY and MARINE CORPS.
The Third is the VC-9C and VIP Transport and built for the Air Mobility Command.

-This DC-9 is just an advance for what is coming with the long waited Service Pack for all the DC-9 Series.
-Include the same features as the Passenger and Cargo version of the Dc-9.
    -Plus Add new animated Pilots.
-3D instruments in the Virtual Cockpit.
    -More detailed doors and seals.
-2 accurate modeled version of the operators, USAF, US NAVY and VIP transport.

YOU MUST HAVE INSTALLED AN A GENUINE SKYSIM DC-9 BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH C-9 INSTALLATION.
