Some years ago Bodo AB (Norway) had squadron exchange with Russian Flankers, and I took some picktures. When I purchased ALS-SIMs outstanding addon, I was delighted to see one of the models in the same paint :salute:

Interesting photos and I will have to do an amendment to the textures. From the reference material I used it showed the aircraft with the scheme applied to only one side. Also various pictures of that aircraft show it in various stages of its <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1lace w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Norway</st1:country-region></st1lace> visit scheme. Some show the gear doors not painted - others with the front door done but the rear door not. It is hard to access whether it was a gradual paint (when the airframe was available for work) or parts got changed due to attrition and wear. One thing is recorded though - the F16’s escorting it and the other SU 27 UB's had to constantly use afterburner to keep up with the cruise speed of the flight.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
Nice shots. <o></o>
