Hello Expat and Scott,
Thanks for the Feedback.
Interesting variant, expat,
and thank you scott, i'm glad you like the new variant
even without the the music feature.
cheers

Thanks for the info however, do I still need to download the original Falcon 50 and then the three FSX patches and updates?
No need to instal the original Falcon 50 , only the three files.
Thank you gastonj ,
First build and load your flightplan, then calculate your VNAV confirm with exec and activate the plan and confirm with exec.
Switch the NAV/GPS control to GPS.
After take off, open the autopilot and switch on AP ;FD ;ALT ;SPD and NAV.
In the Panel.fmc you find the FMC documents which explains the fmc.
hope it helps

Hmm, guess I have to find that file then.
The link in the original post is not getting me to anything downloadable.
One day without laughter, is one day without living.
One day without Flight Simming, is one day lost living.
Bluebear has also uploaded a very nice native FSX conversion of Yannick Lavigne's Robin DR400. Don't forget to check it out! Thank you for your hard work...
In re: Vers 1.2 FSX native Panel and Model update
Don't know how to find and install the Honeywell FMC and radios from the Bombardier_CRJ_700. Can anyone help me? I am a total Noob when it comes t panel mods. I installed the Model update, and it looks great, but I guess I have more to do to get the FMC and radios to show and work.
Grateful for any help I can get. The Falcon 50 is my all time favorite in flightsim aircraft.
Thanks in advance
JPMouse
Hi JPMouse ,
All you need is in the panel folder,there is
nothing additionel to install .
If you have installed the model and panel update,
the only thing to do, is.
activate the OHP model in your aircraft.cfg and
choose between model=OHP and panel=OHP, or
model=OHP and panel=FMC ,
as explained in the readme file.
Open the aircraft,cfg (right klick, open with notepad)
and add your choosen option.

Hi Bluebear,
Know where I can find any additional repaints that I can add to the Falcon 50? Sure is a nice jet and enjoy the updates that were made to it.
Entering "Lavigne Falcon" into the library search engines at Avsim or Flightsim will yield a few pages of results.
I think I did that. Here are the aircraft .cfg entries that I made:
[fltsim.4]
title=falcon50 Marine
sim=falcon50
model=OHP
panel=OHP
sound=
texture=Marine
kb_checklists=Falcon50_Check
kb_reference=Falcon50_Ref

atc_flight_number=
ui_manufacturer=Dassault
ui_type=Falcon 50
ui_variation=French Aéronavale
ui_typerole="Corporate Jet"
ui_createdby="Dassault-Aviation"
description=Dassault-Aviation/Falcon 50 Aéronavale "B.A.N. de Landivisiau Escadrille 57S" repaint by Vonstroheim for French Air Force
[fltsim.5]
title=falcon50 SOH
sim=falcon50
model=OHP
panel=FMC
sound=
texture=soh
kb_checklists=Falcon50_Check
kb_reference=Falcon50_Ref
atc_id=N-SOH1

ui_type=Falcon 50
ui_variation=SOH
ui_typerole="Corporate Jet"
ui_createdby="Dassault-Aviation"

And this is what I see in the aircraft.....No HoneywellFMC and
radios from the default Bombardier_CRJ_700
Puzzled?
Hi jpmouse ,
Please look at your pedestal Panel, there are the FMC and CRJ Radio as i can see
and look into post # 243 of this thread , the first shot shows them both.
And between the radios on your pedestal panel ,is a button which pop-up the fmc.
Thank you so much for your patience with me and your kind help! I'm good to go now. I am glad that I had installed it correctly. When things don't work I am always afraid that I did not follow instructions properly. 30 years of flight sim have taught me to read 3 times and verify each step of instructions. It has saved me many hours or troubleshooting I am sure. The few times that I screw up, I am always grateful for the helpful spirit with which folks like you come to my aid.
Thanks much for your great enhancement and help. Now to dig into the Honeywell manual and do some flying.
Have a wonderful day, my friend!
JPMouse
Ah, someone studied the included real world manual. All I get otherwise are questions why things don't work as expected from your standard flight simmer.
You're welcome. Still need to give the Falcon a try, but I fear I'll just end up tinkering with it and make it yet another item on my endless "stuff I'm working on that I'll never finish" list.
No relation to the Dakota Project. Based on the default DC-3 plus the AWESUM4SUM models and replicating the systems of the real thing.
Somewhere I have lost the VC gauge entry(s) in my panel.cfg for the three red emergency fire shut down switch/levers that sit above the central bank of engine gauges. Anyone know which gauge entry that is? I have compared several old panel.cfg's but just can't spot it.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.
