Some of that has very definitely been 'colourised' with modern techniques. Gun camera footage would have certainly not been shot on colour film for starters.
Not only that but a lot of that newsreel stuff has been around in Black and White for years. Exactly the same camera angle etc. If the news agencies had shot it in colour it would certainly have been used and shown as such at the time.
