    A Callair. A-2/3/4
If we have to split hairs I'd go for an A-3 (by throwing darts at a board)

A brief break in the 'festivities' so a quick dive into the files and I offer this rather sharp little number.

The octagonal fuselage is a big clue. It's a International F-17.

One should expect your knowledge of octagonal fuselages to be key. After all you posted it's very big brother, the CF-10, some 14 years ago

Thanks Rob. Onward with a spiffy monoplane.

Not a lot of wood was used in the construction process.

First flown in late 1931. One of two designs from this small firm.

There was a second version with two cockpits and different engine. West coast USA in origin.

West Coast-ish. Spokane is sorta 'inland'

    The Brown Metalark II

So is it Metal-lark? or Metal-ark? - hmmm
note: "crashed during landing in a fog." As one can see from the photo, the "Inland Empire" around Spokane can get rather obscured.

I have nothing at the moment, so OH

Here's something newer. Looks like the ladies you see going into Walmart.

I've been flying into Spokane Felts Field(KSFF) for the last 5 years and it can get foggy.

    Once more unto the breach!

Bit of a tough nut to crack. There are lots of Bleriot clones from this time period. The delta tail is a good place to start.

  24. #24324
You're in the right country and the right period, Kevin.

I think we have the Poulain-Orange No.3 of 1912. Anzani powered version.
