    got looking at the Luscombe "Sprite" aka "90" aka "4" but can't find a pic that convinces me...

    Hey BG,

    Can't find a proper name for it other than the A-6 or A-6/U variant. Apparently they added weight to the tail section to offset the bracing up front and that caused the flight characteristics to deteriorate.
