Donation P-51B/C or Wozza Repaint: Red Tails?

Hello!

Anyone know of a "Red Tails" Repaint for either the Donationware P-51 B/C or Warwick Carter's P-51D? I've looked through the Library but no joy.

Anyone interested in doing one? Nothing specific, but representative of the Livery...

One of the first repaints by John "Bomber_12th" Terrell was a red tail. He did it for the donationware P51-B.

A good find Pete . When you want John's reflective version, the texture is attached here.

The texture is attached to post #4 of this thread. I assume you know how to create the required texture folder, with the rest of the textures, and how to create the entry for the aircraft configuration file.
If not just let me know, and we will try to guide you.

Many Thanks for your assistance! It took me a little bit to figure out but I got it (slow mind )! D'oh!

She looks beautiful in my Sim, BTW!

I take it then there isn't a Red Tail repaint for Wozza's P-51D, 'cause I can't find one anywhere!

The repaint below is by Lifejogger and available in the library here.



It comes in 3 versions "glossy" shown here. "Semi-gloss and "flat". ( https://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...d=195&id=10749 )

In the past I did two repaint for Wozza's P51. I still have the paintkit I created based on Garry J. Smith's orginal paintkit. It shouldn't be too much work to create a red tail as it has a lot in common with the Flying Dutchman I did.



As always some patience is needed. (Work in progress. Just started, and no alpha's (reflective) yet.)
