    Ms 733 alcyon

    A new bird, the Morane-Saulnier MS 733 ALCYON- is available in two versions on the site.
    https://restauravia.fr/

    The first is for the X-Plane simulator
    The second, adapted from the first, is intended for the MSFS 2020 simulator

    Read the documentation carefully before flying.

    Good flights

    Hi,

    Version 1.1 is available on the Restauravia website.

    Improvements:

    - fixed the propeller regulation bug
    - addition of an hour meter in the tachometer
    - Progressive opening/closing of the canopies via the cranks.

    Good flights

    very nice, but why no PBR / comp files? Same is true for some of their earlier releases..
    You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
    For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

    It's simply because I don't know how to do this kind of textures.
    So I use those of the original FSX aircraft.

    To use composite textures is quite easy. For beginners: you can use DXT1 for it. (it is best for texture size).

    violett for high glance/reflections
    red for mid glance/reflections
    orange for poor glance/reflections
    yellow for no glance/reflections

    You can varyfy the colors.

    From the main home page, click the MSFS button to get to all the downloads for that platform. Click on the pic of the plane to download the package.

    Hi,

    @TiAr:
    is there a tutorial for DXT1?

    @blanston:

    There are two versions of the Alcyon, one for X-Plane 12 and the second for MSFS.

    Here’s a tutorial on PBR/comp, I think Chris/Rotornut44/Emerald Scenery Design is here on S-O but can’t remember his username here.
