I gotta say I'm looking forward to it, so far I'm really interested to see how we are going to control it, I love the idea of not having to hook up my HOTAS to fly it, and that maybe its a far more managerial, captain of the ship experience instead of "I have to be the one flying the plane"

Yes, here it's more like steering a ship, plus managing the crew. It seems that HOTAS is completely unnecessary. You should focus more on walking and clicking interactive elements.

Another interesting option is to speed up x2, which doubles the speed of the airship, it's fictional, but at least you can fly at higher speeds
