Give me your preference please - Next project

I'm contemplating the next model to work on. I want to avoid the tepid response the Fiat Br.20 which was a little disappointing. It takes 150 to 200+ hours to make a model so I'd like at least to know it's one some people want to see.

To that end, here is the list of aircraft on my bucket list in alphabetical order, not by my preference. I'm actually leaning towards the Yak 3 myself.

Please respond with what you would like to see. Thanks for the input.

    WWII

    France:
    Bloch MB.152
    Dewoitine D.520

    Italy:
    Fiat G.50
    Macchi Mc.200
    Reggiane Re.2001

    USA:
    Bell P-63A
    N.A. P-51A (Allison engine)
    SB2U Vindicator

    VVS:
    Yak 3

    WWI

    Albatros D.III
    D.H.9
    Fokker Dr.1
    Hansa-Brandenburg D.1
    Halberstadt C.V
    Lohner L
    LVG C.VI
    RAF FE.8
    Vicker F5B "Gun Bus"
    Cheers,

For what it's worth I like the Reggiane Re.2001 or the N.A. P-51A. For WWI I'd like a Sopwith Dolphin. The Br.20 was beautifully done!

A A-36/P-51A has been off and on my radar to make using the P-51B I had made but IIRC it was low priority as I thought there was A-36/P-51A around than I think 2016 my life blew up and the XP PC died and may have taken the P-51B gMax source and I'm not sure that my P-51B was THAT good.

I could now rip the CFS3. P-51B and work on converting it back to A-36/P-51A.

My preference would be a Douglas DB-8.

Sorry guys, I don't mean for this to be a free for all asking for Whatever besides what's on the list above.

I have the reference plans and published materials to build the planes on the list. It's not reasonable for me to spend money and time to track down additional books and materials when I already have the backlog above. So if you would please, stick to the list and let me know if anything on it strikes your fancy.
    Cheers,

    Captain Kurt

    Howdy Captain,

I do appreciate your Br.20. With it taking hundreds of hours to build a plane, I wouldn't have the time to get ever one out of the door in a year, and that assumes that I'd have your know how (I don't!). I just have not gotten the chance to play with it.

From your list my ranking would be:
    1. P-63A (I do not have one in my library)
    2. Yak-3 (I have the 1% VB version in my library)
    3. Re.2001 (I have Peperez's rebuild of the IS4G model)

OK, from your list I would prefer the Bell P-63A or the RAF FE.8 - or anything that has not been made before . . .

    Good morning Captain,

from your list the Bloch MB 152 will have my preference.
The bird is rare as most of the french ac.
The Dewoitine D520 has almost been done and to make a new one?
I searched time ago docs about the Bloch MB 152 cockpit but all I found was of poor quality or "to pay" for.
Of course I think on planes flyable in the good old FS2004 sim
    Best regards

I'd say stick with the Italians, Fiat G50, Re2001.

But seeing as most players like to fly as Allied pilots, maybe the P51A would be a more "popular" choice...

    Hello CK

I'd be glad giving some paints to the following :

    P-63
    A-36 / Allison P-51A
    Macchi MC200

Again, many many thanks for the great models you've made. Haven't tried the BR20 yet but looks amazing for sure !

I would vote for (in order of preference):

    1- Yak-3
    2- MB.152
    3- D.520

Morton's conversion of FS-France's FS2004 Yak-3 is great but lacks LODs.
Mermaz' D.520 is wonderful and I love it, but it lacks LODs as well.
Graham's Yak-3 and William Dickens' MB.152 are now old and have flaws.

The Lohner L would be great as well. I can't wait fighting it over Adriatic Sea in your Macchi M5

Kurt, I do appreciate the Br-20, just didn't have the time to install and fly it yet, real life getting in the way once again...

For a next project I would also vote for one of the Italian planes on your list, Re-2001, G-50, MC-200 in that order.

Like the br-20. How bout the sm 84 or sm 95? The sm 89 would be good as it was a grounda pounda and there is one for fs 2004.

    Hello-
My choices from your list would be the Yak, the Reggiane, or the LVG... I am confident that whatever you choose will be nicely done!

Although I'm from the other sim, I would really like to see a new version of the Fiat G.50 and/or the Macchi MC.200. Personally I think the available models are a bit dated.
(And I most probably your models will work without issues in FS9 as well ).

When you decide to do one of these, I would like to make a small request. Can you do multiple version with different canopies?

And these are of course aircraft used at several theatres of war........

    Cheers,
    Huub

From your list my preference would be the P-51A but your planes are always really good so anything is fine for me

    Simvation has an A-36 Apache.

I'd like to see a SB2U Vindicator as a follow-on to your excellent TBD Devastator.
