    Hi Safn1949,

Is that your entire scenery.cfg file? The rest of UncleTgt's Solomons scenery layers are missing as well as the Rhumbaflappy mesh layers.

The Buildings and FS2000_props layers need to activated below the Runways layer followed by the mesh layers LOD 7 & 8.

I recommend getting all the mesh installed first, then we can take it from there.

Kevin's right, you are only partially there. Since you are just starting out, I suggest that you download the 87 Days of Cactus 2022 Campaign. Install it as your starting place. It is an autoloading installation having the scenery you are attempting to install included, along with the Scenery.cfg file file to make it work. You can then take a look at the Scenery.cfg file entries order to see how they should go. For many, this as far as you need to go.

However, it does not include the Rhumbaflappy mesh layers LOD 7 & 8 (much too big by themselves to include) in the auto load. So those are are optional additions to UncleTgT's Solomons scenery. Those will require you to refer back to Rami's instructions to install them. In fact, dvslats provided an edited version of Rami's install guide for the PTO which you might use.

The issue you will encounter with installing Rhumba's mesh in the Pacific is that most of the stock airfields, and any add on airfield packages and/or campaigns that are based on the stock Pacific mesh, will not work with with Rhumba's mesh. That said, there are some few add on airfield packages and campaigns that were done using Rhumba's mesh. Being aware of this, you can choose whether or not to install Rhumba's mesh layers to suit your chosen campaigns. With more experience with sceneries and meshes - because that can be tricky - you could also have Rhumba's layers installed and activate or deactivate them to suit particular campaigns.
    Cheers,

Don't feel bad. I still sometimes have a brain block on scenery.cfg sequence from time to time.
