Prop Disc

Just D/L the Macchi 205 from the library and the prop appears as a black spinning disc in cockpit and external view modes. I seem recall a fix for this?

What FS program are you seeing this in?
It's likely the ALPHA channel. Do you have any paint programs that can get to the ALPHA channel?

CFS3, I have no idea what the Alpha Channel is........

100% not an alpha channel issue, 99.9% a missing texture issue. The aircraft model needs propeller textures that for some reason haven't been supplied with it.

I downloaded what I assume to be the same model, it needs prop_ita_static.dds and prop_ita_blurred.dds but none of the three a/b/c subtypes have such textures in them. The readme says "This plane requires the Italian Gauges and Texture pack available at IS4G (itagauges.zip)" which is no longer available for what I know.

I've attached a zip with two files with the desired names, not sure if they're the exact correct ones but chances are high that it's the case. Drop them into the aircraft's texture folder or even better, make a new folder "I4_shared" under aircraft/shared for them.

FS, you are missing some .dds files. They are in a file called I4_shared.
If you have ETO, PTO SI or PTO RS you can find it in aircraft/shared.
