    Hello,

Today a big development step was completed: the conversion of all old lines of Legacy code that remained in the models. These codes were for tablet management.
120 lines of code were converted to Model Behavior in less than 1/2 hour and then I lost more than 2 hours to look for why an element did not want to work on this tablet ...

The Model Behavior debug included in the DEV Mod helped me a little by telling me the source of the error but the message was too laconic: (Invalid) node and and no information in the SDK to explain this error message !

Finally, while scanning a Blender file I noticed that one of the buttons had been renamed to EBF_Back instead of EFB_Back. Once the Behavior model is corrected, the tablet is now fully operational on all developed Stearmans.

Perseverance is good but you really have to be very stubborn to succeed with the Asobo SDK and its DEV Mod

Congratulations. Looking great, and thank you for pushing the envelope of development.

Function testing today over NYC in the A75L300 mod that will be included in the base package. We are close to final testing once the flight model is completed.

    Hello,

After finishing the modeling of the different Stearmans then the coding and the flight model that is being finalized, I wanted to make a vintage pilote to go with this fabulous plane.

Since the beginning of the week, I started two but which did not satisfy me. Today I left a blank sheet and I made a third one.
I hope this one will be the right one, in any case, I like it enough: I was inspired by an old bomber what I use to ride my motorcycle and an old flight suit that my Sergeant-Chief gave me during my military service (French Aviation).
    No, it's not my face

Looks really good, Didier - and suitable for both military and civilian versions.

Some news of theses "birds", which are alone without vintage pilots for them

At the beginning of November I had never created a real character for my planes, so thanks to the great site FSDeveloper.com and its contributors (Federico Pinotti in particular for his Youtube tutorials and Christian Bahr) I was able to learn after many unsuccessful attempts how to create them for MSFS and especially how to animate them. Certainly not everything is perfect, especially the coding aspect for the animations because there is very little documentation on this subject but the result I like very much.

Here is the fruit of my last works of November and December. This pilot and his co-driver were created from MakeHuman for the life and body part. Then both characters were finished under Blender 2.83, Gimp 2.10.32 and PBR Painter 2.4.5. Finally they were migrated in the most complete environment I have: Blender 3.3.5 with the latest Asobo export plugin so that I can take advantage of the latest updates.

I hope to be able to finish very quickly the positioning and the few animations necessary so that I can integrate them into the Stearman.

I get that, but I'm not allowed to say anything more.

Or maybe, "she's lovely, you're going to like her"!

And if I'm not mistaking, the state of Texas got quite a bit of snow (and mayhem because of it) last year, didn't it? Or was that 2022?

    Hello to "Stearman Team",

After a few days of brainstorming, development resumed:
    - installation of the cooling cover
    - engine change for 450 HP Pratt & Whitney R-985
    - addition of the right exhaust with the appropriate effects for the new exhaust
    - addition of a propeller spinner (chrome)
    - hard work on the wings to put the 4 ailerons, check the animations and do not forget the lock controls that include all the moving surfaces of the aircraft,
    - placement of the upper wing mast for Wing Walkers
    - pants on wheels added this afternoon

The engines.CFG and flight_model.CFG are yet modify in accordance with the new engine.
Currently, after the first ajustments, the engine go up a little too high with RPMs (2600 RPMs in the red zone but it simple to fix it) but its behavior at low RPMS is very correct.

It's a first try with the FSX texture for Red Bull version, some ajustments are necessary t be compliant with the 3D model.

Excellent work! The current model is great and about all I've been flying lately. This will only make it better!

We’ve engaged SimAcoustics and agreed on the terms for a Wwise sound solution for the package.
