Must be about cooking birdsI have yet to fly the model. I have been too busy on other projects (a trip to photograph Pelicans for an upcoming book and kitchen improvments).
Ah, you know the Cajun culture well.
It is a book on an island that was recreated by the Louisiana Wildlife Department. The island was a major nesting ground for the Brown Pelican (Louisiana State Bird) before it washed away due to coastal erosion. After rebuilding the island, the Pelicans returned. It is considered a major achievement by environmentalists and wildlife experts. I was documenting their return for the book.
Just for the record, I have never cooked or eaten Pelican. Now, duck, dove, , goose, etc.

No, I am strictly an amateur photography. It has been a hobby of mine since high school. I took an hiatus from photography while our children were growing and got back into it in 2010. I specialize in nature and travel photography.
The Pelican photos were done as a favor to a friend who has written children’s books. This book is aimed at middle-school kids and is non-fiction.

I have kown more than one IP who told me he thought his students were out to kill him.

You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to
Great job Jan, I must have been one of the first to download this beauty. I saw it appear this morning early. Love the Tweet.

Thank you both. Bear encounters that result in injury or death or rare. Usually, it is the human encroaching on the bear's territory. Never block a bear, always give them a way out. And, never, never, never both yourself between a mother bear and her cub(s).

Not sure if I have an old version, but the altimeter on the co-pilots side spins wildly compared to the pilots - has that been fixed do you know?
John-
Your post processing work is lovely… saturation without it being overdone… they have great relief in detail. Very nice!
C
Post procession? Those pictures are right out of the camera, . Thanks for the compliment.

Version 1.2. :
- Aircraft has been slowed down by changing some engine characteristics and increasing parasite drag. Though not exact, the speed is now rather consistent with POH data.
- Airbrake button animation has been fixed. (was inverted)
- Cutoff valves are open by default, so starter would no more stick to 20% without combustion igniting.
- Clickable lights : Canopy lock, Fuel boost pump, Take off trim, Landing gear state lights
- Added glide slope to CDI instrument (ILS frequency only).
- Sounds are now different between exterior / interior with canopy opened, and interior with canopy closed. The intention is to simulate ear protection helmet when flying the aircraft from cockpit view.
The "lowsound" version sound.xml only lowers interior sounds, the exterior sounds are the same as default. Be warned.- Ripping off canopy leads to turbulence, disturbing pitch and yaw. There is also a speed loss.
- Left rudder setting crank can be clicked to invert rudder pedal animation
- Minor improvements.

After the update, finding a flickering cockpit that's pretty annoying. Anyone else seeing this? Landing lights are super bright. Maybe they have always been that way.
Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.
