Your RNLAF Fokker is getting great! Any luck with spec map? Yes in some condition the fuselage is way too shiny...

Not really. I tried nearly all options I could think of, but I couldn't find a satisfying solution with the spec maps. I hope for somebody somebody who is handy with MLDmat or a similar program, who can edit the mdl file.
Now I have a close to white spec map, with a negative black & white image of the normal textures. Anything darker will make the model look like it is made of glass. I have used the alphas for the spec map included in the original textures.

Not great, but the best I can manage.

    Cheers,
    Huub

Nice, hopefully the Finnish flag on the tail doesn't give too much problems.

A real masterpiece of modeling in the VC. Very impressive. I found, as you may already know, that the Army used the F27 for it's Golden Knights Parachute Team and it was also used for a time by FedEx. Two possible liveries.

Way easier than NLM! That's a relief... Stay tuned... The real OH-LKB is a F27-200, not a 500... no big deal...

OH-LKB ready to fly! Far from perfect, especially around the nose, but looks ok from a distance...

My zip file includes also the latest version or NLM PH-KFE: BGT-F27-500-NLM-Finnair-beta.zip Feel free to improve and upload it here, or elsewhere...

Thanks von Stroheim. The RNAF repaints is finished and uploaded, so it should be available in the library soon.

    Enjoy,
    Huub

I like your windows.... I've used the ones from the white textures. Those from the the Air Inter repaints are indeed better.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist....... (And does anyone notice...)

von Stroheim, are you sure about the direction of the registration at the top of the wing? As it looks a bit odd.... My feeling tell me it is upside down.

    Cheers,
    Huub

It is a small thing, but reg. is upside down and if it was on top it would on the right wing. OH-LKB flew for Korean Airlines and Icelandair before Finnair. At Finnair they served intermediate service between Convairs and ATRs.

    You're at Turku airport?

Nice to have more repaints for this beautifull aircraft! Thanks a lot von Stroheim and Huub Vink

You're probably right... I'll fix that asap... I relied on JustFlight F27 Finnair repaint by Carsten Gurk for clues, but looks like I got it wrong! Nice ground power unit!

Yes I am, but as van Stroheim already spotted, I did repaint the ground power unit in Finnair colours. The texture for the Finnair power unit is in the attachment of this post

Yes, indeed, however I think it is on the wrong wing now (I will check later).

edit: Looked everywhere, but wasn't able to find the answer.

Yes indeed! Thanks for research. So some F27 have markings on top of right wing, some have not...

In any case, here's the latest version of the F27 Finnair as shown in post #40, with Huub's ground power unit: BGT-F27-500-Finnair-beta.zip
