    Forthcoming SR-71 for P3D V5 (and FSX)

Some more WIP screenshots of my forthcoming new SR-71 - will be available for P3D with PBR and other native features, and for FSX. Not for MSFS. I don't have the time to convert it over to MSFS - its a miracle I'm going to finish it at all!

In P3D the RSO cockpit has a working viewsight with two magnifications, a working map projector albeit to the default sim map with the flight plan marked, and a working ground radar - default P3D radar. You can cycle between cockpits by pressing Shift A or A.

External model includes Ground Power cart, Nitrogen trolleys, Start Carts and Steps. Pilot and RSO are only visible with the battery turned on.

In the pilots cockpit I have modelled the use of TEB - you have 16 shots per engine. One shot is used per engine on startup and one shot each time you go into afterburner.

Can't beat a Lockheed - especially this particular one! Nice work.
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Definitely looking forward to this one! Glad someone is still developing for P3D.

A shame it's only being developed for legacy sims. I think that an SR-71 would bring in more $$$ if you would be releasing it for the current modern sim.

    Just my two €cents worth.

With most Developers apathetic to P3DV5+, it's refreshing to see someone finally devote something new to P3D V5+

    Just my 2˘ worth...........

    Thanks for your kind words.

Worth noting that the FSX forum gets many more visitors than MSFS most of the time. Not sure who they are, but FSX isn't a dead platform as far as I can tell. P3D doesn't appear to be a dead sim either with suggestions that V6 is around the corner.

Speaking of V6, here is a discussion on that very subject. Interesting info.

It would probably work in 3.4.22 just without the PBR I guess.
