    A "Different" Heli

Found this yesterday on Simviation and since I enjoy flying Choppers (this a Fiat-7002) I thought I'd apply my minimal talents in texturing to spice it up a bit. Nice flyer, but lots of wind noise where the welders failed to close up joints in the sheet metal. Texturing is limited because it falls into that group where the developer used one texture to cover multiple areas ie; One texture covers the front, top, skids, tail boom and rotor casing, where each of those should be separate textures.

Anyway, such as it is I'm going to do one more livery and upload it here for those who enjoy aeronautical oddities. Oh, it's an FS9 model but works perfectly in FSX.

As it turns out, this Helicopter is already in the Warbirds Library along with all the other Lasse Lindh Choppers from the old Swedbird Website. I don't see any reason to post what I've done at this point due to texturing problems. What it really needs is a total upgrade to FSX which isn't going to happen as it appears that the developer is either out of the hobby (the email I have fails to send as it is no longer active) or deceased.

Yet another of Lasse Lindh's Choppers, this one was a bit better as far as texturing possibilities. . .you can never have too many Heli's.

I'd like to have an FS9 Beta Tester if possible so I know if what I did will work in that Sim. I think FS9 had a limit on texture size and this might be over that limit (2048x2048).
