    Maybe, there is an interest in Historical images of WW1 and WW2 war and prewar times, special images of ports, airports, ships and infrastructure

    I have taken those pictures from a Photo Album of my (far) relatives from Italy, it was an uncle to her (Anamaria N.) or some near relative who made a trip around the world in 1907, unfortunately she passed away a few years ago, so I unfortunately cannot ask. There are a few more of these pictures, if there is any Interest, I can post those pictures here.

    About the cruiser; yes it must be the S.M.S Fürst Bismark it was the flag ship of the German Fleet in East Asia. If you look closer to the Flags in front of the ship, it seems, that are clothes hanging in the wind for drying.
