    my wish

    Hi Stuart277,

I'm always enjoying your excellent fleet.
I really appreciate your contribution for completing IJN ships in CFS2.

I just would like to make a wish if you will have a interest to make this Japanese build Royal Thai Navy battle ship, Thonburi ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTMS_Thonburi ).
She was sunk by French Navy during "Battle of Ko Chang" in 1940. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Ko_Chang )
She is quite unique and has pretty shape.

I will be happy if you consider it when you have time.

Also, if you can consider to build "IJN Nagato class", it would be a great contribution to complete IJN fleet.

    Sorry for my bad English.

Thanks again for your great effort to complete CFS2 fleet.

    Hms biter & dasher

I'm enjoying Stuart's exellent model of HMS biter with camo repaint.

Though it's not 100% historical accurate, due to lack of documents and lack of my skill, it may give an option for playing some missions.

I just want to know if I can share this with you folks and how can get a permission from Stuart or anybody else who hold a right.

In the first place, I wanna ask if somebody have a interest with this.

Go ahead and upload it. If you feel you need permission then send Stuart a PM. I'm sure here won't have a problem.

    Hi Maxstuka,

Yes! I'm enjoying excellent VN models always.
    They are really nice.

But I think VN Nagato is built as circa 1939 or before.
If somebody can make as circa 1940 or later, we will have some more options for missions.

By the way, I like also mas's fuso.
    She is also nice model.

    Cheers!

    WWI Cavour?

    Hi Maxstuka,

My info (from wikipedia) is that the Cavour after rebuilding has...

    Length: 186.4
    Beam: 33.1m

As built Cavour had the dimensions 176m x 28m.

    Cheers,

    Stuart

GMax KM M Class Mineswepers for CFS2 V1.0.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Ships Add-Ons

Description: Gmax Models of the Kriegsmarine M Class Mineswepers for CFS2. Models are Multi-LOD and have new DP files. Eight models are included:

    KM_MS1935Early_LOD
    KM_MS1935EarlyLP_LOD
    KM_MS1935Late_LOD
    KM_MS1935LateLP_LOD
    KM_MS1940Early_LOD
    KM_MS1940EarlyLP_LOD
    KM_MS1940Late_LOD
    KM_MS1940LateLP_LOD

The Lower Polycount (LP) have no detailed railings or ladders, which reduce the poly count by approx 1/3. The early and late models differ slightly in AA armament.

Much thanks to Allen, for making the .bat file to allow me to convert models to CFS2.

    Cheers,

    Stuart

Skins for KM M Class Mineswepers

Stuart, Thanks for another excellent boat for our dock.

I just uploaded alternate skins for her. The skin is based on drawings that I found on the web.Very slight change adding some details.

As usual, coz of lack of my skills of painting, it's not 100% historically accurate. Sorry about it.

I also include alternate DP in the pack. Just add bow spray effect.

    Cheers,

    Miccasharon

    Hi Gaucho,

She was also born in Japan.
So, for me, she has a very similar shape with IJN ships.

She is now displayed as a museum at Naval base near Bangkok and open for public.
I am planning to visit her when I go to Bangkok next month if I can have a break during my work.

    Cheers!

Yah, she was built at Uraga, Yokosuka. So I think it is a reason why the shape of her bridge is looks like IJN destroyers.

There was a big naval base in Yokosuka at that time. Now the base is used by both JSDF & US Navy.
She was born there in 1936. Surprisingly, she was in commissioned until 1995 for 58 years.

Here some sites about her. Though they are in Japanese, you may enjoy some pics.

I was in Yokosuka many times back in the 70s and recently when I was in Korea... pity I didn't know about a lot of things extant there...
Just got a brochure for a 17 day cruise and train trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur amongst other places... maybe I can stretch it to Myanmar...
I am sure there is a lot about the Burma-India theater to see...
    Again... ma salamat
