US Air Base Ramstein and US Airbase Spangdahlem

Also nearly ready these two US Air Bases in Germany. ETAR Ramstein with Depot Miesau, and US Air Base Spangdahlem.
Both are nearly ready and i thought i can pull them out as a christmas gift for you. But i fear that will not happen in time because i wait on two permission to use some things from other autors.
First there is a aerial photo i use in Ramstein. No permission till now, even no answer from original autor.

And second i use the original tower from an old AB Spangdahlem scenerie from another autor. Also no answer till now.

So i had to wait to give these scenerie to you.

But i will show some pictures. Hope it`s worth to wait for them.

That's pretty cool - Spangdahlem was really missing! Great work!

EDIT: Ramstein looks stunning! What an amount of work on both air bases!

Do you use the ORBX ground?
    Best regards, Manfred.

Thanks for the kind words. Nothing against your work on your AB. Looking forword to yours. Yes it is ORBX, but i have to change things because the landscape does not match reality even with ORBX.

    greetings

Ah, okay. Thank you for information. Really looking forward to these bases because my F-16 and C-17 are hardly waiting for a quite good playground
    Best regards, Manfred.

I was waiting for permission to use the tower of Spangdahlem AB from another fsx scenery autor. No reaction till now... so i decide to do the tower on my own. Think it is ok.

Now there will be some further testing and some little details to do.

    greetings

That's the right attitude - the more things you want to do by your own, the more fun you have and things better. Some time, you only will do a complete air base by your own

As I recall it, the original tower was not very detailed so it is a good choice to recreate it. Keep on doing this huge project, looks very promising.
    Best regards, Manfred.

Wow - that's great! May I ask if your night pics of Spang are taken with any effects like HDR lighting inside P3D? I ask because in my opinion, the night lighting seems a little too bright. Apart from that fantastic work!
    Best regards, Manfred.

Manfred... thanks for the tip. Did not realise this. HDR lightning was checked on... so i did two new shots without HDR. Think that is better like this way.

Next step for me is to learn how to make a photo ground by myself. I think that will be much better.
But i will have to learn that from first step on. Never did something like that. So i will have to search for a good discription in INet how to do and what is nessesary to make a photoground. Would also help to get Ramstein AB ready. That photoground in this scenery is not my one... and no permission to use it till now.
    Any tip for me ?

    thanks
    Klaus

I have no experience in creating photogrounds unfortunately, otherwise I would like to help.
But over there at FSDeveloper, there are lots of good hints and help and good tutorials in the net to get good results for your purposes.
    Best regards, Manfred.

Some picturee from Spangdahlem AB on ground by going arround by car. A nice possibility to find little mistakes (as buildings that are a little to high above ground and something like that).
